So, next week Linda and I start the latest challenge.
Linda walks me around 630 miles of the South West Coastal Path and I try to stop in as many pubs as I can. (that Linda lets me, that is).
We will try to take as many photos, Videos and recap the adventures as soon as it occurs on this format.
This may take many years to complete but hopefully we will complete, one day.
Day one starts Tues 25th April, watch out for posts.

Day 18 - Porthcothan to Newquay - 23 May 19

This was our final walk of the break and always was going to be the second longest. With tired limbs, we took off.....(I didn't moan much honestly). So we had worked out that we could park at the Car Park at Porthcothan for about £6 and walk to Newquay and catch the bus (every two hours) back. On arriving there was a sign that the car park was shutting at 1630hrs, although we expected to be back about that time, you never know, so I don't like deadlines. So we tried to turn the car around and found a car park, we could see workers in the car park then realised it was a pub car park. Linda went in and asked if we could leave the car there all day, to which they stated "yes, as long as we came in for a drink afterwards" Linda agreed that we would also eat there, so we were happy. Day 7 - Lulworth Cove to Weymouth - 19 Aug 17

Stats maybe slightly wrong as I paused a part we walked. This was an eventful trip as my description below unfolds. Some amazing scenery but some hardship for Linda and I. So on planning, Linda (As usual) wanted to get another Park Run in the plans. So Weymouth holds a park run at 0900hrs. This however did mean we would miss the bus to Lulworth. Luckily our friends Tina and Ian were on Holiday in Weymouth and agreed to drop us off in Lulworth after the run. We caught the 0730hrs train from Yeovil Pen Mill and arrived at Weymouth about 0820hrs. Then we had a 10 min walk along Weymouth front to the Sea Life Centre which is where the Park Run began and finished. Linda ran well and was happy with her time. Day 14 - Abbotsbury to Weymouth - 19 Apr 19

On such a good day weather wise, Linda and I headed to Abbotsbury. We were dropped off by Luke and Sammy and said our goodbyes. Now the study of the route listed this walk as easy, but although it was not the hilliest by far it was not easy. We knew that we had extra to do as the original course is to Ferrybridge but we needed to get to Weymouth Train station to get home. So instead of about 11 miles as per the book, the walk was nearly 15 miles. A pleasant start apart from an initial hill, which going by the guide was not there! Another thing was the styles, we must have climbed over between 20 and 30 in the 1st quarter of the walk.
