Membury South West Coastal Walk

Please note this part of the coast is listed as Strenuous and was full of steep cliffs and inlets to walk.  On Tuesday 25th Apr 2017 we started off with the drive to Pendeen Lighthouse during which, heavy showers were hitting the car, it didn't bode well for the 1st of our coastal walks. I had a flimsy waterproof but really did not fancy walking whilst wet. We arrived at the Lighthouse and immediately took the wrong route (my fault, a little over excited) and ended up walking through bracken and added extra distance to the 9 mile route. Pendeen Lighthouse Walking through the tin mines was different but surreal.  I tried to push over one of the chimneys with some success.  I stood over a massive drop which we believe was a ventalation shaft for the miners, Linda decided against it.  ATT all was good, I was energised and invigorated. I saw a family of seals from 200ft above, Chaffinches, Choughes, cows, long horned Beetle, Lizard...

So, next week Linda and I start the latest challenge. Linda walks me around 630 miles of the South West Coastal Path and I try to stop in as many pubs as I can. (that Linda lets me, that is). We will try to take as many photos, Videos and recap the adventures as soon as it occurs on this format. This may take many years to complete but hopefully we will complete, one day.
